NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Carlos Carrasco gave up a three-run home run in the first inning, then retired 13 consecutive batters last night as the Reading Phillies beat the New Britain Rock Cats, 4-3, in the Eastern League. The righthander struck out seven in six innings. Mike Eylward's fourth-inning sacrifice fly drove in the winning run.
