Traffic restrictions on Schuylkill, Route 1 this week

There will be overnight lane closures and brief traffic stoppages this week on the Schuylkill Expressway and Route 1 in Philadelphia as Intelligent Transportation System equipment is installed.
Weather permitting, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said, the schedule is:
Today from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Route 1's northbound and southbound right lane will be closed between Wissahickon Avenue and Broad Street.
Today and tomorrow from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m., Route 1 northbound and southbound traffic will be stopped between Wissahickon Avenue and Broad Street for 15 minutes for the installation of a dynamic message sign. - Inquirer staff
